Warhammer 40,000: Doubles Tournament

Welcome to the first of our new quarterly events for Warhammer 40,000!

Partner up with a friend and pit your forces against another duo also looking for victory.

What You’ll Need:

• Each player will need a painted 1000pt army, which together make a 2000pt Force, Unified Force, or Force of Convenience as detailed in the “Warhammer Doubles - Event Companion” document on the Warhammer Community website:

• The latest rules, FAQ’s, and any tokens, dice and measuring devices you need to play.

The cut-off for rules changes is 1 week before the event. 

Registration

We'll be using Best Coast Pairings to track results. Once you've purchased a ticket please each player will need to register for the event here:

Event Schedule

• Registration: 8:30 - 9:00 (please use the side door for entry)
• Game One: 9:00 - 12:00
• Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30
• Game Two: 12:30 - 15:00
• Break: 15:00 - 15:15
• Game Three: 15:15 - 18:15
• Awards: 18:15 - 18:30

Each game will last 3 hours. There will be a dice down rule at the end of the round with scores as is being used. Any teams with evidence of slow play will be given a penalty of 10pts.

Terrain

We will provide terrain area footprints and suitable terrain, this will need setting up by both teams at the start of each round based on your force dispositions.
