During the Hundred Days campaign, the dragoons of the Prussian army, equipped with curved sabres and iron scabbards, wore a business-like uniform consisting of a blue Litewka long coat and grey overalls. They were accompanied into battle by cavalry guidons, a rarity among Prussian cavalry.
