Inago Medium Walker - Konflikt '47
Inago Medium Walker - Konflikt '47
The Konflikt ’47 Inago Medium Walker emerged from a pressing need: the Imperial Japanese military required a fast response to the USMC deployment of Grizzly medium walkers in the Pacific. Designing a fully homegrown counterpart would take too long, so Japan again turned to their Axis allies for support. The solution came in the form of the Pz.Kpfw. VII Heuschrecke, delivered without its gravitic jump modules.
Surprisingly, this omission became an advantage. With the weight of the jump-assist system removed, the chassis proved faster, lighter, and more agile—perfectly suited for reconnaissance and rapid engagement roles. As Imperial engineers studied the imported machines, they gradually reverse-engineered key components, eventually allowing Japan to develop a fully domestic version: the Inago.
Now fielded across the Home Islands and beyond, the Inago stands as a sleek and efficient medium walker—swift, reliable, and a testament to adaptive engineering under wartime pressure.
