Airfix Gloster Meteror F.8/FR.9 1/72 Scale Aircraft

This precision engineered scale model kit from Airfix accurately recreates the Gloster Meteor F.8/FR.9 at 1:72 scale, the first jet-powered fighter to enter service in Britain. It played a significant role in the nation's air defence for over a decade, with the F.8 becoming the most heavily produced and definitive variant. The Meteor was also developed into the armed reconnaissance FR.9, serving mainly overseas.
