Warhammer 40,000: Incursion League 2026

Prove your worth as an aspiring general and meet other players by taking part in our 1000pt Warhammer 40,000 league! 

How it works

Each round you’ll play someone different from our growing community, and the player with the most wins at the end will be crowned our champion! 

You’ll have three weeks to organise and play your game with your opponent. 

The pairings will be hosted here on the MLG website and you can organise games via our Discord. As this is an MLG League all games must be played at the store. 

Our dedicated gaming floor is open anytime the store is open, and also late on Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30pm

The league will start on September 1st and run until mid December. 

What you’ll need

• A 1000pt Warhammer 40,000 army
• Latest Chapter Approved deck, or the Warhammer 40,000 app
• Dice, tape measure, etc. 

Rules

• Rankings will be determined by the number of wins, draws, losses, and then the number of Victory Points scored in each game.
• Your faction must stay the same, but you can change army lists each round!
• Any updated points and rules changes published will come into use at the start of each round. 
• If your army is painted, you’ll get the 10 extra vp for having a battle ready army.
• Any games not played by the end of the round (unless a delayed game is approved) will result in a loss for both players. We will endeavour to help organise you an alternative opponent if yours is unresponsive. 

Terrain

You can either use the terrain layouts from the Event Companion/app, or by following the mission cards and using your own layouts. Our gaming floor has multiple sets of terrain suitable for use with the event companion layouts.
