Khymaera Shadowflame Shard Command Starter

Khymaera Shadowflame Shard Command Starter is a fully playable 30-point force for Warmachine MKIV, designed to introduce players to the lethal, stealth-focused playstyle of the Shard Nocturnes. Built around precision strikes, battlefield manipulation and coordinated assassination, this Command Starter is the perfect entry point into a full Khymaera army or an expansion to an existing Shadowflame Shard collection.

At the head of the force is Vallyx, Fate’s Eclipse, a cunning warlock who orchestrates engagements from the shadows. Vallyx leads with calculated precision, ensuring every strike lands where it will cause maximum disruption and collapse enemy formations through controlled terror and misdirection.

Supporting the force is Aklyss, an abhorrent warbeast that shrouds the battlefield in acrid haze, masking the Shard Nocturnes’ approach and disorienting enemy ranks. Alongside it moves Regulus, a silent and lethal predator that slips through chaos to eliminate priority targets with brutal efficiency.

Providing arcane insight is Pythia, a gifted solo whose predictive acuity allows the force to anticipate enemy movement and exploit weaknesses before they fully emerge. Completing the cadre are the Shades, a disciplined 3-model unit of master assassins who excel at coordinated strikes and surgical eliminations.

Together, these elements form a fast, evasive and highly synergistic force built around disruption, stealth and decisive killing blows.

This set is fully playable out of the box and designed for immediate entry into Warmachine MKIV gameplay, while also scaling naturally into larger Khymaera Shadowflame Shard armies.
