Khador Old Umbrey Core Expansion brings a darker, more primal side of Khador to Warmachine MKIV, delivering a flexible mid-sized force built from infantry, shapeshifting horrors and mystical battlefield support. Designed as both a standalone army core and a powerful expansion for existing Old Umbrey collections, this set embodies the feral duality of disciplined soldiers and bestial transformation.

At the heart of the force is Kapitan Maksim Azlanov, a warlock shaped by hardship and wilderness alike. Raised as a nomad before conscription, Azlanov’s supernatural aptitude earned him rank, but his relentless determination earned him respect. Armed with a blade taken from a warjack, he leads Old Umbrey forces with a balance of tactical control and instinctive ferocity.

Alongside him stalks The Starved, a warbeast of myth and hunger, etched with runes that channel its insatiable appetite into devastating battlefield power. It serves as both weapon and omen, embodying the ever-present danger beneath Umbrey’s surface.

The core infantry are represented by the Liegemen Wardens, disciplined border defenders who maintain order with grim resolve, while the more enigmatic Shearlings move with unsettling intent, hinting at the hidden truths of Umbrey’s cursed heritage.

As the battle escalates, the force reveals its true nature through the Lupine Shifted, savage warriors who abandon humanity entirely to unleash predatory violence upon the enemy. They are guided by the mystical influence of the Animist and the disciplined control of the Liegemen Primalist, ensuring that even chaos serves Umbrey’s purpose.

Completing the expansion is the fearsome Apex Lupine, a pinnacle expression of Umbrean transformation that embodies the full terror of the faction’s bestial power.
