Cold Covenant by Peter Fehervari follows the 27th Halgarth Brine Dogs, a regiment of Astra Militarum veterans stationed on the remote planet of Oblazt. Ruled by a corrupt aristocracy, the world is a place the soldiers are eager to leave behind as they prepare for deployment to a new war zone.
