The Victrix Late Roman Armoured Cavalry set (VXDA010) provides 12 multi-pose 28mm hard plastic miniatures representing Roman heavy cavalry of the 4th to 6th centuries. Part of the Victrix Dark Ages range, these models capture the look of elite Roman cavalry clad in mail and scale armour, ideal for both tabletop wargaming and miniature painting projects.

This versatile kit includes multiple head and arm options, allowing you to equip your cavalry with spears, javelins, or swords, as well as parts for a standard bearer, officer, and musician. Cloaks are included to help distinguish command figures from rank-and-file troopers.

Two historically accurate shield sizes are provided: the large oval S1 and the smaller oval S2, reflecting the variety used by Late Roman cavalry. The set also features detailed horses complete with javelin cases, water bottles, and bedrolls for added realism.

Thanks to Victrix’s cross-compatibility, these miniatures can be further customised using heads and parts from the Late Roman Infantry set. They are also suitable as Romano-British or Goth cavalry, making this kit a highly adaptable choice for historical wargamers.
