Victrix Early Saxon Unarmoured Warriors – VXDA016 28mm Dark Ages Miniatures
The Victrix Early Saxon Unarmoured Warriors set (VXDA016) contains 36 multi-pose 28mm hard plastic miniatures from the Victrix Dark Ages range. These figures represent the Saxons, Angles, Jutes, and Danes who invaded and settled in Britain during the 4th to 6th centuries, clashing with both the Late Romans and the Romano-British.
Armed with spears, swords, axes, javelins, and the distinctive Angon throwing spear, the Early Saxons relied on fast, aggressive charges. Warriors would hurl javelins as they closed with the enemy before fighting at close quarters with shields, blades, or the famous seax. This kit provides options for both small round bucklers and larger round shields, allowing players to field their warbands in a variety of historical styles, from early raiding parties to the beginnings of shield-wall tactics.
With an extensive selection of helmeted and bare heads, fur cloaks, and weapon options, this set allows for incredible variety when building your warband. These warriors are perfect for representing Saxon raiders, Germanic tribes, or even mixed with Viking or Late Roman miniatures for greater diversity in your Dark Ages armies.
