The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying 5E Starter Set brings together the legendary world of Middle earth with the world’s leading 5E roleplaying game system in a beginner friendly and visually stunning package. Created for 4 to 6 players aged 14 and over, this set features streamlined 5E rules tailored for journeys in Middle earth. Condensed rules cover action resolution, combat, councils and journeys, ensuring new and experienced players alike can quickly immerse themselves in heroic storytelling.

At the heart of the box is the complete adventure Over Hill and Under Hill, sending heroes deep into the wild lands of northern Eriador to confront a rising dark threat. The set includes five pre generated and illustrated Player heroes, allowing groups to begin their quest with minimal preparation.

A large full colour map of Eriador is included, with a combat diagram printed on the reverse for quick reference during encounters. Beautifully illustrated cardboard stand up figures represent both Player heroes and Adversaries, making it easy to visualise scenes at the table.

Also included is a full set of transparent polyhedral dice, featuring two d20s engraved with the Rune of Gandalf and the Eye of Sauron, adding thematic flair to every roll.
