Tamiya Nissan R91CP 1:10 R/C Car Assembly Kit
Tamiya Nissan R91CP 1:10 R/C Car Assembly Kit
The Tamiya Nissan R91CP is a 1:10 scale radio-controlled car assembly kit based on the Nissan R91CP endurance racing car. The original car featured a low-profile aerodynamic body and a 3,500cc V8 twin turbo engine.
The Nissan R91CP achieved victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona with Japanese drivers Kazuyoshi Hoshino, Toshio Suzuki and Masahiro Hasemi, marking the first victory at the event for a Japanese car.
The model uses a direct-drive 2WD chassis based around an ABS plastic bathtub with front and rear space frames and FRP plates. The suspension features independent coil-sprung front suspension and a three-point rear suspension with an FRP T-bar and CVA oil damper. Ground clearance can be adjusted for different running surfaces.
The distinctive body, wing and front light cases are separately moulded in polycarbonate, while the kit also includes a styrene plastic cockpit and driver figure. Gun metallic five-spoke wheels are paired with high-grip sponge tyres, and helmet markings for the three Japanese drivers are included.
A Sport Tuned motor is included. A transmitter and receiver, ESC, servo, battery and charger, polycarbonate body paint and suitable assembly tools are required separately.
