Build one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the Second World War with the Tamiya Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 Late Production. This 1:48 scale plastic model kit accurately recreates the late-production version of Germany's legendary Bf109 G-6, incorporating newly tooled parts alongside the proven design of Tamiya's earlier release.

The Messerschmitt Bf109 was the most-produced fighter aircraft in history, with more than 30,000 built. The G-6 variant was the most numerous, serving on both the Eastern and Western Fronts throughout the later years of World War II. Late-production aircraft introduced features including the distinctive Erla Haube canopy for improved pilot visibility and underwing 21cm rocket launchers for attacks against Allied bomber formations.

Based on extensive research of the original aircraft, this kit faithfully reproduces the late-production engine cowlings, canopy, and optional armament. The interchangeable engine cowlings can be displayed open or closed, even after assembly, while the canopy may also be posed open or closed.

The model offers excellent flexibility, allowing it to be assembled as an early-production, late-production, or mixed-configuration aircraft. A decal sheet with four marking options, including the aircraft flown by Hermann Graf, completes the kit.

Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly, this static display model is an excellent choice for World War II aviation enthusiasts and aircraft modellers.
