The Tamiya Honda RA273 F1 Car is a highly detailed 1:12 scale plastic model kit recreating Honda’s 1967 Formula One challenger from the golden era of Grand Prix racing. Designed to meet new 3-litre engine regulations, the RA273 marked an important step in Honda’s factory F1 programme and was driven by John Surtees during the 1967 season.

This large-scale assembly kit accurately captures the distinctive 1960s styling and advanced engineering of the original car. The V12 engine is faithfully reproduced with fuel pipes, ignition cables, and aluminium air funnels, while front and rear suspension systems use metal coil springs for realistic movement. A removable nose cowling allows inspection of internal mechanical details, including the radiator with photo-etched grille.

The cockpit features detailed instrumentation, steering linkage that turns the front wheels, and a driver figure. Treaded tyres feature moulded GOODYEAR logos, and multiple marking options are included. This kit is intended for experienced modellers and is supplied unpainted and unassembled.
