The Tamiya Honda City Turbo (WR-02C) model kit (kit number 58611) is an exciting 1/10 scale radio control car that brings a classic Tamiya design back to life. This updated release of the beloved "Willy’s Wheeler," originally launched in 1983, features a newly overhauled variant of the WR-02 chassis, complete with a Honda City Turbo body and a comical driver figure.

WR-02C Chassis Features
The WR-02 chassis is designed for performance and durability, featuring a 2WD drivetrain with fully independent double wishbone suspension. The sturdy monocoque frame protects the gearbox while enhancing the model's overall strength. The 185mm wheelbase chassis houses a gear differential unit within a sealed gearbox, powered by a centreline-mounted motor that drives the rear wheels. This configuration allows for optimal weight distribution, enabling the City Turbo to perform thrilling wheelies, supported by a wheelie roller bar to prevent toppling.

The steering servo is centrally positioned, utilising a 2 tie-rod setup for straightforward handling. The model also boasts 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension, ensuring a smooth ride across various terrains. For added convenience, the gearbox and motor come pre-assembled, simplifying the assembly process.
