Spectre: Out of Time – Skirmish Warfare Rulebook
Spectre: Out of Time – Skirmish Warfare Rulebook
Spectre: Out of Time brings fast, tactical skirmish warfare to multiple periods of history, allowing you to fight battles across the ages of kings, emperors, and dictators using a single, flexible ruleset. Built on the core mechanics of Spectre Operations, this standalone rulebook adapts the system for historical conflicts while introducing new layers of command and battlefield control.
The game spans three major eras — Medieval (1066–1500), Colonial (1775–1865), and World War II (1939–1945) — making it ideal for players who enjoy historical skirmish gaming without being locked into a single period or miniature range.
Commanders and Officers play a crucial role, issuing Orders to their Elements to gain tactical advantages. These Orders allow limited actions without spending Momentum and enable the use of Formations, unlocking further battlefield benefits and encouraging thoughtful manoeuvre and positioning. While familiar to experienced Spectre Operations players, these mechanics add meaningful depth that rewards planning and leadership.
Designed for forces of 5–50 models per side, Spectre: Out of Time is perfect for compact, narrative-driven games that can be played in an afternoon, while still scaling up for larger engagements if time and preparation allow. The system is fully miniatures agnostic, letting you use the models you already own.
