Shadows of Brimstone: City of the Ancients is a fast-paced, fully cooperative dungeon-crawl board game set in the Old West — with a terrifying twist of unspeakable horror! Players create classic Western heroes such as the Law Man, Gunslinger, or Saloon Girl, forming a posse to venture into the dark mines beneath the frontier, where ancient demons and otherworldly terrors await.

With tactical gameplay, dice-based combat, and a card-driven exploration system, no two adventures are ever the same. Each expedition brings new enemies, loot, and dangers, as well as the chance to step through portals to other worlds to continue your adventures beyond the mines.

Campaign System:

Between adventures, players can visit frontier towns to spend their hard-earned loot, upgrade gear, and develop their heroes. As they gain experience, heroes level up through class-specific upgrade trees, unlocking new skills and abilities to suit each player’s unique style.

The City of the Ancients Setting:

In City of the Ancients, the heroes discover portals to the frozen world of the Plains of Targa, an ancient city whose inhabitants have mysteriously vanished. Mechanical constructs now roam the ruins, continuing their long-abandoned duties—until the heroes arrive to disturb their slumber!
