Bolt Action: Sd.Kfz 250 Alte Half-Track – 28mm (1/56th) German Armoured Vehicle

The Bolt Action: Sd.Kfz 250 Alte Half-Track is a detailed 1/56th scale hard plastic WW2 German armoured vehicle kit that allows you to build one of three variant options – the Sd.Kfz 250/1, Sd.Kfz 250/4, or Sd.Kfz 250/7. Designed for use in Bolt Action and Achtung Panzer!, this kit perfectly captures one of the most versatile vehicles of the German Wehrmacht.

Originally developed as a shortened version of the Sd.Kfz 251 Hanomag, the Sd.Kfz 250 was used primarily by reconnaissance and headquarters units for fast, flexible deployment. The “Alte” version included in this set represents the early production model that served throughout the Second World War, even after the later “Neu” design was introduced in 1943.

Built for mobility and protection, the Sd.Kfz 250/1 carried a crew of six and was armed with twin MG34 machine guns for defence and suppression fire. The variant options included:

• Sd.Kfz 250/1: Standard reconnaissance and transport version

• Sd.Kfz 250/4: Prototype anti-aircraft variant with twin-mounted MG34s

• Sd.Kfz 250/7: Mortar carrier variant equipped with an 8.1cm mortar for mobile infantry support

This kit comes complete with Bolt Action stat cards, a full-colour decal sheet, vehicle damage markers, and assembly and painting guides, making it ideal for experienced hobbyists and WW2 wargaming enthusiasts.
