Reaper MSP Tinted Glosses Triad #1

Reaper Miniatures Tinted Glosses Triad #1 is a three-paint set from the Reaper Master Series Paint range, designed to add transparent colour and a glossy finish to miniatures. The set is particularly useful for transparent and translucent figures, but the paints can also be used over opaque or already painted models.

The three tinted glosses included are Tinted Red Gloss, Tinted Golden Gloss and Tinted Green Gloss. They can be used as coloured top coats, allowing the colour beneath to show through while adding a glossy finish.

Tinted Glosses can also be layered over painted miniatures to create effects such as slime, water, drool and goopy viscera. When used on transparent miniatures, they can add colour variation and enhance the appearance of details while retaining the translucent effect.

For the most even application, Reaper recommends applying very light layers with a brush, using a sponge for more even coverage, or applying with an airbrush. If further thinning is required, Reaper recommends using Flow Improver rather than water, as water can cause the pigment to separate from the gloss base.
