Pillage Introductory Set - 2 Player Early Middle Ages Battle Game

The Pillage Introductory Set is designed as a starting point for new players while also offering existing Pillage players a selection of new miniatures, scenery and accessories. The box includes four brand new sprues featuring new sculpts, including buildings and wattle fences, alongside a mixed loot frame containing examples of objects and animals from the Pillage accessories range.

The set includes Viking and Irish warriors for games between two players. The Vikings have the numerical advantage, while the Irish have more ranged weapons and a powerful Danish axe. The introductory scenarios are designed around these differences, with the Vikings needing to steal the cattle while dealing with the Irish ranged attacks.

A 50-page A4 starter booklet provides a lighter version of the main rules, introducing the game mechanics from the ground up and including simple scenarios to help players learn the game.

Pillage revolves around equipment and objectives, with the introductory scenarios providing an accessible way to learn the core mechanics before moving on to the wider strategic options available through the full rulebook and custom warbands.
