Montgomery’s Office with Staff Model Kit

Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery – one of the most famous British commanders of WWII – relied heavily on his staff and mobile command units to plan and execute operations across North Africa and Europe. This detailed 1:35 scale kit recreates his specially modified Leyland Retriever command truck, complete with staff figures for a historically accurate diorama build.  

The Leyland Retriever field office was built on the standard army truck chassis, but with a purpose-designed superstructure divided into two rooms. It provided Montgomery and his officers with a mobile command post from which they directed critical operations, including the North African campaign against Rommel and later the D-Day invasion of Europe.
