Konflikt '47 'Slammer' Samuels, The First Paragon

‘Slammer’ Samuels, The First Paragon is a 28mm plastic miniature for the Konflikt '47 tabletop wargame, representing Harris Samuels, the first successful subject of the Paragon programme.

Samuels enlisted in the US Army after Pearl Harbor and went on to serve with the fledgling 1st Ranger Battalion, including taking part in the Dieppe Raid. After being badly wounded on Omaha Beach, he volunteered for a radical new treatment made possible by the Los Alamos Rift, undergoing a process that transformed his biology and established him as the first Paragon.

In battle, Samuels makes use of experimental Rift-tech weaponry, including his signature Tesla Gauntlet. Combining a pneumatic punch with a Tesla discharge, the weapon allows him to take on armoured and inhuman opponents at close quarters.

The miniature is supplied unassembled and unpainted with a plastic base. The studio miniature shown was painted by Kirsten Williams, while the miniature was sculpted by Marco Sano.
