Once the United States had produced the M8 Grizzly medium walker in sufficient numbers, surplus units were shipped to the Commonwealth under lend-lease. However, with relations between the two powers beginning to strain, Commonwealth command grew wary of relying too heavily on American walker production. Rather than deploy the shipment directly, it was diverted to Bovington for in-depth study.

The result was the Percival Medium Assault Walker a distinct and entirely Commonwealth design. Built to integrate advanced automated assistance systems and powered by a robust new engine capable of sustaining the Commonwealth’s latest Tesla cannon variant, the Percival represents a significant leap forward in British Rift-tech armoured warfare.
