Mahmot Heavy Walker - Konflikt '47
Mahmot Heavy Walker - Konflikt '47
The Konflikt ’47 Mahmot Heavy Walker was born from necessity. While the nimble Kazak walkers served the Soviet forces well, they were consistently outmatched by the Axis’ imposing heavy Panzer walkers. To turn the tide, the OKMO design bureau at the Bolshevik Factory in Leningrad was tasked with developing Objekt 231—a powerful countermeasure built on captured design insights.
Instead of copying the Axis’ intricate six-legged mechanisms or the Allies’ mechanically demanding bipeds, OKMO engineered a robust and reliable quadruped chassis. This offered stability, ease of production, and battlefield dependability. Though first envisioned as a mobile bunker, the Mahmot grew into a full battlefield titan, channelling the ambitious multi-turret legacy of OKMO’s 1930s T-35 tank.
The result is a hulking Soviet war machine—brutish, resilient, and ready to push back against Axis dominance.
