Large, immensely strong, and protected by thick plated scales that can turn aside most blades, these Neritican warriors form a brutal and disciplined fighting force beneath the waves. Organized into ancient warrior guilds, placoderms dedicate their lives to defending the oceanic kingdoms from any threat.

Even during times of peace, placoderm patrols tirelessly scour the seas, drilling constantly so that every warrior is ready the moment the call to arms is sounded. Fierce, predatory, and relentless in battle, they see lesser creatures as little more than prey and bring ruthless determination to the battlefield.

Unlike their swift and graceful naiad allies, placoderms rely on resilience and disciplined formations. Armed with massive spears or vicious razorswords, they advance in tight ranks that grind down even the most powerful opponents. Their stubborn endurance and grim efficiency make them a dependable core unit within any Trident Realm army.
