Italeri M8 Greyhound M20 Armoured Car - 1:35 Scale Model Kit

Build a detailed 1:35 scale model of the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer, the compact German tank destroyer developed during the Second World War using the proven mechanical components of the Czechoslovak-origin Panzerkampfwagen 38(t).

Production began in the second half of 1943 as Germany sought a lightweight tank destroyer that could be manufactured quickly and economically while providing effective firepower and protection. The Hetzer featured a low-profile hull with sloped frontal armour and a 7.5 cm gun mounted within a fully enclosed casemate.

The Jagdpanzer 38(t) entered service during the second half of 1944. Its low silhouette made it particularly difficult to detect when properly concealed, allowing it to take advantage of ambush positions against Allied armoured vehicles.

This Italeri plastic model kit includes link and length tracks and builds into a finished model measuring approximately 18.2cm in length.

Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly, this 1:35 scale kit is an excellent project for WWII military modelling enthusiasts and collectors of German armoured vehicle models.
