Italeri M8 Greyhound M20 Armoured Car - 1:72 Scale Model Kit

Build a detailed 1:72 scale model of the M8 Greyhound, with decal options allowing you to represent either the M8 Greyhound armoured car or M20 utility vehicle.

Developed during the Second World War as a more heavily protected and armed successor to the lightweight American scout cars, the M8 Greyhound provided the U.S. Army with a fast and versatile reconnaissance vehicle. Its turret-mounted 37mm cannon gave it greater firepower and allowed it to support ground troops more effectively.

The M8 Greyhound first saw combat on the Italian Front, including operations around Monte Cassino and Anzio, before taking part in the D-Day operations in June 1944. Despite the difficult terrain encountered in Normandy, its speed and versatility made it a valued vehicle. The M8 was also supplied to numerous Allied countries during the war.

This Italeri model kit includes decal options for both the M8 Greyhound and M20, allowing you to choose which version to represent. The finished model measures approximately 6.5cm in length.

Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly, this kit is designed for scale model enthusiasts aged 14 and over.
