Italeri AB.205 UH-1D - 1:48 Scale Model Kit

Build a detailed 1:48 scale model of the Agusta-Bell AB.205, the Italian-built version of the famous Bell UH-1 Iroquois, better known as the Huey.

Produced under licence in Italy by Agusta, the AB.205 entered service during the 1960s and became known for its simple construction, reliability and versatility. Originally developed for rapid troop transport to difficult-to-reach areas, the helicopter was adapted for a wide range of military and civilian roles.

The AB.205 has been used for cargo transport, medical evacuation, civil protection and search-and-rescue operations. It also played an important role with the aviation units of the Italian Carabinieri.

This Italeri kit represents the SAR Search and Rescue configuration and includes new parts specifically for this version. The kit also includes a decal sheet with markings for six versions, including Italian Army, Carabinieri and US Navy aircraft.

The completed model measures approximately 27cm in length.
