The Mauser Tankgewehr was a single-shot 13.2mm weapon operated by a two-man crew. It weighed 17.7kg and was capable of penetrating significant levels of armour at battlefield ranges. German anti-tank units were also supported by machine guns, which could target vulnerable areas of enemy armoured vehicles.
