ICM MH-6J Little Bird Scale Model Kit (1:48 Scale)
The MH-6J Little Bird is one of the most recognisable helicopters used by U.S. Special Forces. Developed from the Hughes OH-6 Cayuse under the U.S. Army’s Light Observation Helicopter (LOH) programme, the design evolved through the MD 500 Defender and MD 530MG before becoming the MH-6J variant used by the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment the legendary “Night Stalkers.”
Compact, agile, and highly versatile, the MH-6J features a single main rotor with tail rotor configuration, skid landing gear, and a single turboshaft engine. Its lightweight aluminium alloy fuselage houses the cockpit forward, avionics beneath the cockpit floor, and fuel tanks to the rear.
While capable of carrying cargo up to 900 kg, it is most famously used to transport four troops seated externally on side-mounted benches a defining visual of special operations deployments worldwide.
