ICM Marauder Mk.III RAF & SAAF Bomber 1:48 Scale WWII Aircraft Model Kit

The ICM Marauder Mk.III 1:48 scale model kit recreates the RAF and South African Air Force variant of the legendary American-built B-26 Marauder, an important medium bomber of the Second World War. Produced at the Glenn L. Martin factory in Middle River, these aircraft were delivered to British and Commonwealth forces and designated Marauder Mk.III, based on the improved B-26F airframe.

The B-26F introduced notable wing modifications to improve handling, along with revised fuel tank ventilation and redesigned nose glazing. RAF and SAAF Marauder Mk.III aircraft featured several distinctive details, including spoked nose wheel landing gear, a modified tail gun position with canvas covering, and in some cases British-designed bomb sights. These bombers saw extensive service with RAF squadrons and multiple SAAF units, particularly during the Italian campaign, where they played a key role in supporting Allied operations.
