ICM Bristol Beaufort Mk.I. Bombing Raid Scale Model
ICM Bristol Beaufort Mk.I. Bombing Raid Scale Model
This 1/48 scale plastic model kit from ICM represents the Bristol Beaufort Mk.I, an essential multi-role aircraft of RAF Coastal Command during the early years of World War II. Originally designed as a torpedo bomber, the Beaufort was also used extensively for land-based bombing missions across occupied Europe.
The Mk.I variant entered service in late 1939 and remained the only RAF aircraft capable of carrying the full range of British aerial ordnance until 1941. It participated in a variety of key operations, including bombing runs on strategic targets such as oil storage facilities in Hamburg and military installations along the French Atlantic coast.
This ICM model kit captures the aircraft in its land-attack configuration, featuring:
Internal bomb bay configured for 250 lb and 500 lb high-explosive bombs
Detailed cockpit and defensive turret
Historically accurate markings and decal options
Instructions and painting guide included
Glue and paints sold separately.
