Hues and Cues is a vibrant, social party game that challenges players to think creatively as they guide others to guess a specific shade from a grid of 480 colours. Ideal for 3-10 players, it’s easy to learn but requires sharp descriptive and interpretive skills as players aim to make accurate guesses and score points.

Here’s how it works: The Cue-Giver draws a card with four colours, each assigned coordinates on the grid. After selecting one colour in secret, they give a one-word clue to help the other players guess it. However, clues can’t directly describe the colour (e.g., “blue” for a light blue shade), and the Cue-Giver can’t reference its location on the grid.

Players then place their pawn on a colour square, with colours assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. After the first round, the Cue-Giver offers a second, two-word clue to help players refine their guesses and place a second pawn.
