Hail Caesar Later Greek Hoplites

The Hail Caesar Later Greek Hoplites set by Warlord Games allows you to recreate the citizen soldiers of the classical Greek city states during one of the most dramatic periods of ancient history. These warriors fought in famous conflicts such as the Peloponnesian War, the ill fated Athenian invasion of Sicily, the campaigns of Xenophon’s Ten Thousand, and the rise of Macedon under Alexander the Great.

This boxed set contains 40 multi pose 28mm scale hard plastic hoplite miniatures representing Greek warriors from approximately 450 BC to 323 BC. These heavily armed infantry formed the backbone of classical Greek armies, fighting in disciplined phalanx formations with large round shields, spears and protective armour.

The kit includes a variety of historically inspired helmet styles used during the period including Thracian, Pilos and Phrygian designs. These options allow hobbyists to create varied units representing different Greek city states or mercenary forces across the classical world.

Also included is a full colour shield decal sheet to decorate your hoplites and add distinctive markings to your units. Two metal arrow sprues are provided to embellish shields and bases, perfect for adding character to your tabletop miniatures.
