Dorohedoro volume 1 a 176 page paperback manga graphic novel by Q Hayashida. A twisted tale of sadistic sorcerers and the monsters they create in a city so dismal it is known as 'the hole'. The sorcerers take people off the streets to use them as guinea pigs for their experiments in the black arts, people such as Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia.  Nikaido and Caiman hunt the sorcerers hoping to kill the right one and undo the spell but the head sorcerer is less than happy about a lizard man slaughtering his people and a war ignites between the two worlds.
