Dark Ages Unarmoured Cavalry- Wargames Atlantic

Wargames Atlantic Dark Ages Unarmored Cavalry is part of the Decline and Fall Imperial Rome at War 284-476 AD range and provides a versatile collection of multipart hard plastic cavalry for historical wargaming.

The set allows you to build up to 12 Late Roman or Dark Ages warriors mounted on horses, with options to equip them with either a spear or sword and shield. The wide selection of head types allows the figures to represent cavalry from a variety of historical forces and periods.

Depending on how you build and equip the miniatures, the set can be used to create Goths, Saxons, Franks, Late Romans, Britons and Normans. The range of head options also allows the figures to represent later Dark Ages Vikings and Saxons equipped with spangenhelms.

The versatility of the set makes it suitable for a range of historical wargaming armies, whether you are calling up a fyrd, assembling Late Roman forces, defending Britain or creating cavalry for Dark Ages conflicts. Three mastiffs are also included, adding further character to your force.

The models require assembly and painting, and bases are not included. Sculpting is by Rob Macfarlane, with illustration by Marco Capparoni and painting by Matthew Leahy.
