US Army M2A1 105mm Howitzer

During World War II, the United States used the M2A1 (M101A1) 105mm howitzer as its standard light field artillery. Its function was to lay down a barrage in preparation for an advance or to disrupt enemy attacks. With a range of 11,000 meters and a 15kg shell, the 105mm gun was a powerful weapon. In Bolt Action games, the M2A1 can be added to Artillery Platoons and is considered a Medium Howitzer that can be towed by various vehicles, including half-tracks.
