Bolt Action US Army Heavy Weapons Platoon

Add serious firepower to a US Army force with the Bolt Action US Heavy Weapons Platoon. This versatile hard plastic set provides the components needed to build a range of machine gun and mortar teams for Bolt Action, with plenty of options for customising your force.

The US Army was well known for its use of substantial firepower, with medium machine guns and mortars providing important direct and indirect support for infantry. The .50 cal M2 Heavy Machine Gun, famously known as the "Ma Deuce", could deliver powerful fire against infantry, cover and light vehicles.

The box can be configured to build up to four mortar and machine gun teams, or three heavy weapons teams with a Platoon Commander and bodyguard. The crew are modelled in US Army uniforms and are fully interchangeable with plastic infantry, allowing additional components to be used for conversions, infantry squads and vehicles.

The set includes .30 cal M1919 Medium Machine Guns, .50 cal M2 Heavy Machine Guns, M1 81mm Medium Mortars and a selection of ammunition and equipment.
