The Imperial Japanese Army in WWII

Over the course of the Second World War, the Imperial Japanese Army mobilised nearly 5.5 million men. Though many were conscripts, they were well-trained, highly disciplined, and fiercely motivated. Known for aggressive tactics and relentless assaults, Japanese forces were capable of swift, determined attacks and continued fighting with unwavering resolve, even in the most desperate situations.
