Bolt Action British Heavy Weapons Platoon

Add powerful fire support to a British force with the Bolt Action British Heavy Weapons Platoon. This versatile plastic set provides the components needed to build a range of heavy weapons teams for Bolt Action, including Vickers Medium Machine Guns, medium mortars and heavy mortars.

The British Army relied heavily on dedicated support weapons to provide covering fire for infantry. The 3-inch medium mortar provided close fire support to Rifle Companies, while the heavier 4.2-inch mortar offered increased firepower and range. The reliable Vickers Medium Machine Gun could sustain accurate fire for extended periods thanks to its water-cooled design.

The set can be configured in several ways, allowing you to build up to two Medium Machine Guns, two medium mortars, two heavy mortars, or a combination of heavy weapons teams with a Platoon Commander and bodyguard. The crew are sculpted in British Army uniforms and are fully interchangeable with plastic infantry, providing additional flexibility when building your force.

With a selection of heads, arms, weapons and equipment, this set offers plenty of options for creating distinctive British and Commonwealth heavy weapons teams.
