Bolt Action British 6 Pounder Anti Tank Gun

Add reliable anti-tank firepower to a British or Commonwealth force with the Bolt Action British 6-pounder anti-tank gun. This hard plastic kit recreates the QF 6-pounder, one of the most important British anti-tank guns of the Second World War.

Introduced to the British Army in North Africa in 1942, the 6-pounder quickly proved effective against Axis armour. It saw extensive action during the fighting in North Africa and was capable of engaging enemy tanks at useful battlefield ranges. Its combination of firepower, relatively compact size and ability to be moved into cover made it a valuable weapon for British forces.

In Bolt Action, the 6-pounder can be included in Artillery Platoons as a Medium Anti-tank Gun and can be towed by most vehicles.

The kit also includes a crew frame with four British Army crew in mid to late war uniforms. The crew are suitable for many Commonwealth forces and include a variety of heads, arms and equipment. An additional crew member can be used as a Platoon Commander, Spotter or added to an infantry squad.

The gun frame can also be used to build the US 57mm M1, while standard or hinged trail legs provide an option for airborne forces.
