Airfix de Havilland Tiger Moth 1:48 Aircraft Kit

As a student pilot, the de Havilland Tiger Moth was considered to be a stable and forgiving aircraft, with few handling issues. It was known for being easy to fly, but difficult to master. This made it the perfect choice as a primary/basic trainer for WWII pilots. At the beginning of the war, the RAF had approximately 500 Tiger Moths in use, but they would acquire hundreds more from flying clubs nationwide. 

For use under adult supervision, model kits are designed for children aged 10 years and upwards. Plastic Model kit that requires assembly and painting. This is not a toy.
