Full Time Team Member Required

 

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our team in store at Mighty Lancer Games.

This vacancy will be a full-time role in our customer facing team, working 4 days per week including Saturday and Sunday. The working hours may include Bank Holidays. This role will be primarily focused on our mail order activity, picking and packing orders for our mail order customers in an efficient manner.

The ideal applicant will fulfil the following:

·        Have a strong interest in the products we sell.

·        Good computer literacy.

·        Be flexible, hard-working and punctual.

  • The ability to stand for extended periods – this role will require you to be stood for the duration of your working day and carry stock up and down several flights of stairs. A good level of fitness is vital.
  • The ability to use labelling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and task focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers to our shop.
  • Receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.
  • Monitoring customer activities to prevent incidents of shoplifting.
  • Restocking depleted or low stock items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
  • Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
  • Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.
  • Performing regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies.
  • Performing routine cleaning duties.
  • Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner.
  • Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

Full training will be provided on our systems and processes, and the successful candidate will be required to start the role as soon as possible. Minimum wage will apply to begin with, increasing after a probationary period.
