EYBBL Season 5 Final
Emma LongThe East Yorkshire BloodBowl League (EYBBL) Season 5 live final took place at Mighty Lancer Games on 3rd July 2025, being streamed live on the MLG Twitch stream.
What Is BloodBowl?
Blood Bowl combines the thrills of American football with brutal combat in the Warhammer The Old World universe. Teams of rugged Humans, deadly Orcs, and other fantastical factions battle it out in the most violent sport in the realms. Each team plays differently, offering a variety of strategies, with plenty of opportunity for underhanded tactics and glorious touchdowns.

EYBBL Season 5 Live Final
Gathered on the shop floor at Mighty Lancer Games itself, the spectators huddled amongst the well stocked shelves of RPGs, miniatures and trading cards to get the best view of the gaming table and allowing them to show their support for their chosen team. Would the Skabrand's Skull Takers or the Naggarond Sea Drakes take the BloodBowl victory for season 5?
It was all to play for as coaches Al and Mark gave their players the final pep talk, Al hoping for the blessings of Khorne and Mark still riding high from his previous victory and wanting to make this his 2nd championship win.
Was It Doomed From The Start?
With Al on top naughty dice form and rolling more 1s than any human has ever rolled before the fans where praying to Khorne to remove the number from all dice but this was not to be, Mark used his uncursed dice and played the best game becoming the triumphant victor for the 2nd time. Congratulations Mark!
After the game came the BloodBowl Season 5 presentations including Best Rookie, Most Casualties and of course Season Winner.
