The black steel powder pigment from Green Stuff World is designed to be applied over a black matt surface and allows you to gently rub the pigment once firmly in place with cotton, your finger or a soft brush to create a polished metal look meaning that this pigment would look great on your cannons, gun barrels, pipes etc. You can use a small amount of master medium or other preferred medium to fix the powder but be aware that too much could alter the look of the pigment.
