Early Imperial Roman Bolt-Shooters - Victrix Miniatures

£36.00

Each Roman Centuria in a Legion had a Light Bolt shooter (either Scorpion or Manuballista) manned by regular Legionaries. These were used in the field or defensively from forts or during sieges, capable of launching large darts or bolts with much greater range and force than a standard bow. Adding a powerful, long-range option, they provided an invaluable boost to the firepower of any Roman Legion.

There is a useful image on Trajan’s column depicting this Bolt-shooter with cylindrical drums laying siege to a Dacian hillfort.

You get a lot of bits to really customise each figure and make your bolt-shooter bases look ready for business.

28mm hard plastic multipose miniatures.
