Dune: War for Arrakis is a thematic strategy board game cantered around the Desert War events from the acclaimed Dune novel by Frank Herbert.
In this game of asymmetry, House Harkonnen must dominate Arrakis through troops and spice, or risk losing support from the great powers of the Imperium. Meanwhile, young Atreides leader-turned-messiah, Paul-Muad’Dib, must lead the Fremen rebels and navigate between his prescient visions of Arrakis' fate, the inexorable jihad, and his own destiny as Kwisatz Haderach. While the Harkonnens rely on vehicles like Ornithopters and Carryalls, the Atreides harness the power of the desert and ride colossal Sandworms into battle. Each faction has its own unique strategies, aided by Leaders and Planning Cards, to achieve victory.
