Bolt Action British & Inter Commando Weapon Teams

Bolt Action armies rely heavily on infantry weapons teams for their tactical flexibility. These teams, including sniper, flamethrower, and light machine gun units, pose multiple challenges for opponents to overcome. Commandos, known for their specialized raiding skills, may be lightly equipped in terms of weaponry, but they make efficient use of Vickers K machine guns, which provide a high rate of suppressive fire. Each team consists of a gunner and an assistant equipped with extra ammo. While all Commandos possess marksmanship skills, those with a natural talent for accuracy and field craft often serve as snipers. Initially, snipers were used on an ad-hoc basis, but as the war progressed, they were specifically listed in Commando tables of organization and equipment. During the Normandy landings in 1944, backpack flamethrowers were issued to Commandos for clearing fortified positions on the beaches.
