Bolt Action Armadillo Mk III
As France fell in July 1940, the threat of Germany's invasion loomed over Britain. In order to defend airfields against airborne troops, the British Government needed a solution. The Armadillo Mk III was the perfect answer - an improvised armoured vehicle using standard lorry chassis. Its wooden fort, filled with gravel, provided protection, while the driver's cab had mild steel plates. Used by the Royal Air Force and the Home Guard, Armadillos were armed with Lewis Guns and rifles, and some even had obsolete naval guns like this one, mounting a Hotchkiss 3-pdr.
Contains one resin and metal self-propelled gun, Bolt Action stat card, vehicle damage markers, full colour waterslide decals, Bolt Action order die.
