MLG Yu-Gi-Oh Community Supports Kingfisher Café

We are excited to share that Mr. MLG has successfully delivered a generous donation of tinned food items to the Kingfisher Café in Bridlington.  This initiative was made possible through the incredible support of the Mighty Lancer Games Yu-Gi-Oh community during our recent charity event.

A Fun and Meaningful Event

The charity event was designed to combine fun with a good cause, inviting duellists to participate by bringing non-perishable food items as their entrance fee. Each participant contributed three tins of food, which not only served as their ticket to the event but also as a way to support those in need. Throughout the tournament, duellists staked one tin of food per round against their opponents, creating an engaging and competitive atmosphere. At the end of the tournament, participants traded their food items for prize packs, ensuring that everyone walked away with something special.

Supporting the Kingfisher Café

All the collected food items were donated to the Kingfisher Café, located at 3 West Street in Bridlington. This wonderful local charity (charity number 1172935) is dedicated to supporting the homeless and vulnerable in our community. The café provides a safe, warm, and friendly environment, offering breakfast five days a week, hot evening meals on three nights, and pack-up style takeaways. Additionally, they provide flasks of tea and coffee, companionship, and valuable advice to those in need.

Mr. MLG expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are thrilled to support this wonderful local charity and deeply appreciate the generosity of our customers in helping us collect a significant amount of tinned goods for donation."
